Google me, Google me not February 9, 2009

Google was once again smart enough to recognize that people may type one less “o” or a few extra ones. But a few of the gooooogle URLs were already taken. Check it out:

• www.gogle.com (one less “o” takes you to Google’s page)
• www.google.com (the right one)
• www.gooogle.com (one extra “o” also takes you to Google’s page)
• www.goooogle.com (2 extra “o”s does not!)
• www.gooooogle.com (3 extra “o”s takes you back to Google)
• www.goooooogle.com (4 extra “o”s does not!)
• www.gooooooogle.com (5 extra “o”s. now check out this one. Is this Google or Gooooooogle? The result takes you to Google search results, so I guess they own this one as well)
• www.goooooooogle.com (This page actually says: That’s eight O’s, 2 g’s and a “le”, hehehe)
• www.gooooooooogle.com (NOT google)
• www.goooooooooogle.com (This one says “It works!” hahaha)
